Along with breeding our own mares, we will be standing Gio to a handful of outside mares in 2025. 

All mares coming to be bred must be registered and cannot be related to Gio within the first three generations of their pedigrees. Mares must be at least 3 years of age and free of any illness. Mares MUST be UTD on worming, vaccines and trims. Proof of vaccines and a negative coggins within the last 6 months will be required. We highly recommend a breeding soundness exam/uterine culture prior to arriving but it is not a requirement. 

While we understand not every mare will be able to come to Missouri to be live covered, we will not be offering shipped semen in 2025. Depending on the demand for it, we may discuss looking into it for 2026 and onward. A lot goes into shipping semen and it is costly for the mare owner. If this is a service we start providing, we want to make sure we have a great clinic/vet in place who is very familiar with artificial insemination in order to offer mare owner's the best chance of success.  If this is something you may consider in the future, please reach out and we will make note of it.  

Stud Fee: $1,500 ($750 as a non-refundable deposit to book)

Mare Care: $12/night or $15/night for mares with foals or mares with special needs

Remaining $750 stud fee is due when the mare is confirmed in foal and the certificate of stallion service will be sent directly to the NFHR Registrar upon the foal being registered. 

No live foal guarantee will be given.
